Terms of Service
These terms cover hosted Gesso, the service at mcp.gesso.run run by Hapticloom ("we"). The Gesso software itself is open source under the Apache License 2.0. You can run it on your own computer or server under that licence, and these terms don't apply to that.
By connecting an app to hosted Gesso, or otherwise using it, you agree to these terms.
The service
Hosted Gesso lets AI apps you connect (such as Claude or ChatGPT) create, edit, render and export layered images in a private workspace.
- Price. It's free. We may add limits, or paid plans, later. If we do, we'll say so before they apply to you.
- Workspaces. Workspaces are temporary. They're deleted 7 days after they were last used, and we don't keep backups. Keep copies of anything you need.
- Availability. We may change, limit or stop the service, or any feature of it, at any time. We'll try to give notice of big changes on gesso.run.
Your content
- It stays yours. You keep all rights to what you upload and make.
- What we do with it. You let us store, process and send it as needed to run the service for you, such as rendering previews, exporting files and serving downloads. We do this only to provide the service.
- Your responsibility. You're responsible for having the rights to what you upload, and for how you use what you make.
Acceptable use
Don't use hosted Gesso to:
- break the law, or infringe others' rights, including copyright and trademarks
- create or store content that sexualises minors, or that is otherwise illegal
- harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate others, or make deceptive content meant to mislead people about real persons or events
- try to reach other users' workspaces, get around limits or security, probe or attack the service, or overload it, including with automated traffic beyond normal use by an AI app
- resell or offer the hosted service to others as your own
We may remove content, and suspend or delete workspaces, that break these rules or that put the service or others at risk.
Third parties
- Apps. You use hosted Gesso through apps run by others, such as Claude or ChatGPT. Their terms apply to your use of them.
- Image tools. Gesso never runs AI models itself. When it prepares a job for an image tool you've connected, that tool's terms apply.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that results will be accurate or match other software.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us for the service in the past 12 months, or USD 50.
Changes and ending
- Changes. We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and announce significant changes on gesso.run. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
- Stopping. You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes go to the courts of Dubai, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
